Set the controls for the heart of the sun
Under the eaves the swallow is resting
Lotuses lean on each other in yearning
Counting the leaves which tremble at dawn
Little by little the night turns around
And call to you across the sky....
So I throw the windows wide
And no one makes me close my eyes

A million bright ambassadors of morning
Come streaming in on sunlight wings
And through the window in the wall
To rise
Inviting and inciting me
